We’re out doing some tree maintenance on November 8 at Stainforth and I’d like to invite you to come out and join us!
This winter we’re planting close to 28,000 trees in the Dales and maintenance such as this is vital to ensure the trees survive.
We’ll have some volunteers with us and a few members of YDMT staff too, including our Woodland Officer, who will be available for interview.
We shall be meeting at the YDNPA car park at 10.30 am on Friday 8th November 2019 and finishing at 4 pm – although if you just want to come for a few hours that would be fine.
You’ll need sturdy footwear, full waterproofs and, if you’re hanging about, a packed lunch. It is a 20 minute walk uphill to the site and then we will be clearing tree tubes from across the site on a hillside – so fairly strenuous (but a good work out!)
