To open his exhibition of Yorkshire landscapes, Ashley Jackson will be in conversation with Canon Sam Corley at 7.30pm on Thursday 4 July in Bradford Cathedral.

Synonymous with Yorkshire and its inspiring views,  Ashley will talk about his work and his passion for the landscape.

He said,  “I was thrilled to be asked to exhibit at the Cathedral as I have always said that I paint in the ‘Great Cathedral of the open air’. I believe in making art accessible to all by allowing it to be viewed in environments such as the Cathedral. I can’t think of a more serene environment to allow others to connect with the atmospheric landscape of Yorkshire.”

Tickets are available now, £8 / £6 concessions, from the Cathedral Office on 01274 777720.  Entry to the exhibition ‘God’s own county Yorkshire’ which runs until 9th August, is free with donations appreciated.
