Parker
My maternal grandmother was born Rosa Parker in 1863. She was the youngest of ten girls born to George and Emily Parker of Grange Farm, which I think was near Whitley or Grange Moor. She was married to John Edward Smithson, son of James Edward and Harriet Smithson of Huddersfield on 24.12.1885 at Kirkheaton Parish Church. They were master plumbers and I believe both father and son were killed in a gas explosion on 3 May 1902. Subsequently she married John Cawood, born circa 1848, possibly from Leeds. I have no information about the Parkers, Smithsons or Cawoods prior to this. Of the ten sisters, one, Martha, married Mr Beatson and had a daughter, Beatrice. Another had a daughter who married a Mr Sheard. I would welcome any information.

Peacock
One of my wife’s descendants is Rhoda Peacock – born 1826 in Grinton, Yorkshire. She married William Lodge on 24th May 1847 in Manchester Cathedral. Rhoda’s parents were Mark Peacock – born 11th May 1787 in Grinton, Yorkshire, who married Jane Spensley also from Grinton. Family folk-law says that Rhoda was in some way linked to the Beyer-Peacock engineering company in Manchester, England. One of the founders was Richard Peacock – born 9th April 1820 – in Swaledale, Yorkshire. His father was Ralph. Can anyone help to establish Rhoda's link to Richard Peacock?
Research shows that a Ralph Peacock – born 1782 was the brother of Mark (same one as mentioned earlier). Does anyone have any information about the descendants of Ralph? If I can establish that Rhoda’s father (Mark) and the Ralph (father of Richard) were brothers, then Rhoda and Richard (above) were cousins.

Perrott
My great-grandfather George Perrott 1868-1899 had two brothers, one of whom almost certainly had children. He was John Perrott 1871-1939 who married Phoebe Marsden in Bradford. I am interested in learning if John and Phoebe have any descendants. George, John and brother William plus their Mother Elizabeth came to live in Bradford.
The Perrott family came from the East Lutton/Malton areas of Yorkshire, I can trace them back to John Perrott 1805 to poss 1878 who might have been born in Hull. I would like to confirm his dates and place of birth, and anything else about the Perrott family.
Happy to exchange information.

Procter
I am almost certain that my family is connected to the Procter's of Winterburn in Yorkshire. However, despite all our best efforts we cannot find a connection between Thomas Procter born 1702 who married an Elizabeth Pigrim and moved to Rye in Sussex. It is possible that he was born abroad, possibly France, as two of his grandchildren were christened by the King in exiles personal priest in the early 1800s. Was this King Charles Stuart? We don't know.
However, from personal papers we do know he was connected to some sort of iron production, similar in fact to what the Yorkshire branch was doing at the time. Is this the conection?
If anyone can assist it would be most helpful.

Procter
My great-great-grandfather, John Proctor (born 31-07-1831) married Sarah Jane Whytall in Eston (near Middlesbrough) on 17th Jan 1858. Both John and his father, William, were listed on the marriage certificate as grocers.
One relative has unsubstantiated information that John had a brother, Robert (born 1830) and that his mother's name was Mary.
Any information regarding William, Mary and/or Robert Proctor would be appreciated.

Proctor
I am researching my great grandfather - Thomas Henry Proctor. He was born approx 1861 and his army papers say he was born in Appletown near Yorkshire. Unfortunately I don't know which Appleton that would be. His father was William Proctor also from Appletown and his mother could have been Hannah. Thomas joined the Army at Leeds in 1880. If anyone can help me as to which Appleton this could be, or can help with my quest then I would be very gratefull.
