This steam railway runs 4.5 miles from Embsay station to Bolton Abbey. Many family events are held here and it is well equipped with gift shop, cafe and picnic area. This 18 mile steam ride passes through spectacular scenery and idyllic stations; Goathland for example is "Aidensfield" In the ITV Heartbeat series. SETTLE-CARLISLE RAILWAY
